Brief History of my LoGD experience

Because I do get alot of questions and because I do not mind answering, but think it would be easier to just post it somewhere... About me,... Did you know? First for the few that do not know,... Mighty-E Eric Stevens created lotgd as a tribute to legend of the Red Dragon (LoRD) a BBS game. I was not around way back then, and still have not played any type of LoRD game. I have yet to recieve even 1 lesson in any modern programing language. I and Lady Laren have done roleplay for many years, but this site was the first online rpg we ever did. I joined the site with the intent to purchase it to convert to a real roleplay group and game that we have run for many years. I was outbid for the site by DeAdmin. I left the site many times over unbalanced changes to the site. I have played on many lotgd sites under many names. (hey I may know you, no, you may know that character, not me). lol. When I started on this site, the people were far from friendly. DeAdmin did work to change that, but in the mean time,... I created the first Clan in lotgd (at least none were on the sites listed at the central server). It was The Wolfen and I created it to try to protect my loved ones from the bullies that preyed upon the weak. In time, I made most concede and all recognize I was a force not to be ignored. Lady Laren and I created the Clan Pages and DeAdmin placed the link on the site so all Clans could be included in game. We also added the Guilds so those who could not show honor by refraining from attack farmies, could still have a group. Lord Wolfen performed the first wedding we know of in the gardens of this site. Then did tons more and finally ordained another to continue this task. Lady Laren purchased the site and wanted to save it. That the guild/clan script most servers employ was created for blue dragon(check the db table names of lotbd_guilds (Legend of the Blue Dragon). I was coOwner of Blue Dragon and it was on 4winz.com(my domain for years) and chief coder there, til the other owner got angry that I did not allow cheating by his admins(spelled friends) and stabbed me in the back. I came back to the site to be DeAdmins Anti Cheat Admin. We had another site shut down for copyright infringement ... twice. I had 2 lotgd sites closed for reasons to do with abuse of admin powers. Only 1 site that i reported stayed open because they had friends. They are now gone too. That I have worked on dozens of lotgd sites behind the scenes to repair bad coding, fix glitches, or add mods. I had to save playpen lotgd from its repeated crashes. Then stayed to work on coding for them and to play the game there. And that Streen and I worked to fix the faulty guild/clan script there. They got what they wanted then deleted our accounts. That I coded the spend ref points options and released them to the lotgd coding community only to be assualted by the team, who said it was not good to give stuff to those who support the site. They then released their own version that they had been using for years. Hey if it was such a bad idea, why did they already have it? That the latest lotgd version I checked (1.02) still has some of my contributions including one that credit is given to 4winz. That my coding is on alot of .9.7 version sites, just no credit is given. BTW I am currently releasing some scripts, snippets and such at a forum for Admins of .9.7 version sites.
