First I most protest:
NO I am not a Republican.
In fact,...
I was a third generation democrat (all 3 gerationations were forced to open our eyes after the clinton era).
Currently I am a member of the Constitution Party.

I do want to say I have found many mostly unbiased articles on your site.
And I do thank you for that,...
Howerver,...

After many trips to factcheck to try to verify the validity of the two main parties, I am left with a burning question.

If factcheck is nonpartisan, Why are so many articles so liberal biased?

Perhaps certain media insiders should be replaced with non biased persons.

I do not have the time or space to challenge the abundant examples of the liberal leaning comments.

Example:
You claim obama is for clean coal technology while McCain is for "so called" clean coal technology.

In another attack upon McCain...
You claim Chevy is making "the first practical plug-in electric car" (as you quote McCain).
Apparently that is news to Chevy.
Their site claims to making a E-Flex, just another hybred (not a practical plugin ) with an electic range of about 40 miles.

Fact Check:
They blast Giuliani for saying McCain was a fighter pilot.
He is as correct as factchecks claim...

The A-4 Skyhawk is NOT really a bomber.
For the record: A stands for attack,
most often used for ground support...
though to be fair their use is could be called fighter-bomber.

Example:
You attack statements that obama did not AUTHOR major bills.
I will ignore the lack of definition of a "major bill".

You then prove your are wrong by listing 2 bills (major?) he cosponsored.
cosponsored does NOT equal Authored.

Example:
Your disgusting use of the

Your article admits: "Obama’s tax proposals overall would raise federal revenues (TAXES) by $627 billion" yet some how that is not a large increase.

The increase you state as higher was ...(accroding the the US Treasury dept) ..
"$8.7 billion in 1941 to $45.2 billion"
Your new math escapes me, but proves again my point that you will use creative decpetive methods to paint your own picture of fact.

While your people continually claim Obama will lower taxes for us and McCain only lowers taxes for the rich:

McCain - Afghanistan

Early on McCain emphasized the need for NATO countries to do their part, and for the United States and NATO forces to better manage troop levels and logistics.

On July 15, 2008, the McCain campaign released "a new comprehensive strategy for victory in Afghanistan" that applies "the tried and true principles of counterinsurgency used in the Iraq surge." And advocating sending at least three additional brigades to Afghanistan. "Our commanders on the ground say they need these troops, and thanks to the success of the surge, these forces are becoming available," states the campaign's strategy outline.

So McCain did NOT 'switch' to obamas position.

FACT:

National Intelligence Estimate cautioned that Iran was "keeping open the option" to develop nuclear weapons.

FACT:

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said in May it has "serious concern" about Iran's lack of transparency with respect to its nuclear program.

Since, Iran will not honestly tell us whether or not it seeks to join the nuclear club, we can not be sure of their true intent.

We do however want to point to one specific word in the statement:
"... in the view of every objective observer...."
and thus have to say we have a reasonable doubt that EVERY objective observer would say Iran is persuing nuclear weapons.

Obama - National Guard helos

“Every request for aviation support that has been passed to the Missouri National Guard for this particular disaster has been met,” Spicer said. Kansas had offered aviation support, but Missouri didn’t need it.

• Mike Chrisman, spokesman for the Illinois National Guard, said eight of the state’s eighteen helicopters are overseas in Kosovo. They’ve been using only three of the available helicopters for flooding missions. And the helicopters that are overseas aren’t even in Iraq.

1. First examine the claim that he flip-flopped on his withdraw time table.

Obama campaign:
Plouffe said in March 2008. "He offered a withdrawal plan well over a year ago. It's essential to his candidacy and a rock-solid commitment. ... It will be 16 months at the most where you can withdraw combat troops."

His campaign Web site says the following: "Obama will immediately begin to remove our troops from Iraq. He will remove one to two combat brigades each month, and have all of our combat brigades out of Iraq within 16 months. Obama will make it clear that we will not build any permanent bases in Iraq.

Note Obama offered a bill in January 2007 that set a deadline for getting out of Iraq.

1. True the rhetoric is mis-leading, and true his statements show a wrong choice and his elitist attitude.
I do not see a flip-flop here but rather creative rhetoric that emphasized "16 months" when speaking to antiwar audiences and "about 16 months" when answering questions from withdrawal skeptics.

2. Obama against the surge because it would not work.
No debate that Obama has repeatedly stated he was against the surge.
Even after his world wide vacation and having visited Iraq and seeing the surge has been a success, he again stated he was against the surge.

2. Again he is totally wrong, but I do not see a flip-flop. Just a refusal to admit to the facts.

• A look at the votes

The National Rifle Association isn’t buying Obama’s “election-year rhetoric” in support of individuals’ right to keep and bear arms.

The NRA says Obama’s voting record — which they have consistently rated an “F” — suggests he would be “a serious threat to Second Amendment liberties.”

Seems that in action, Obama is anti Second Amendment, irregardless of his words.

Obama shunned soldiers in Afghanistan

While some sources have confirmed that Obama did not meet/talk to the troops at the base,
it was due to circumstances beyond his control (confirmed by military source) and he did not "shun" them as the email states.

The New York Daily News and The Army Times reported that it corresponded with this officer, who asked them to "delete my e-mail and not forward it" because "some of the information that was put out in my e-mail was wrong.

My projects use a php script that uses mysql with html template.
Or rather specific uses of php scripts, utilizing sql dbs with javascript for interfaces and html templating. There is some limited use of dhtml (often for FAQ other site pages) and a few uses of perl and other languages have been used, though often I have dropped them as inefficient.

Each of the following may end up with its own dev team, some soon. It depends upon the interest each generates.
NOTE IT IS LEGAL to use open source to produce a product that you can charge to install, charge to maintain, charge to sell. Not that this is my motivation, because it is not.

eTraffic Pro - Auto Traffic Exchange - feature rich (Late Beta++ working site with no recent bug reports)

eTraffic Gold - Combined Traffic Exchange -depends upon development of both of above -
Traffic Pro - Traffic Network that would allow multiple sites to utilize central server database to create a network of exchanges. (early Alpha) relies upon dev of some of above.

eRealEstate (prebeta) - Actually dropped this back to alpha. The biggest problem was creating a search that really chose the options user selected, rather need stronger AND than the OR to get revelancy. this could actually turn out to be piecing together parts of php scripts from php.net to achieve our lofty goals. Or converting to utilizing an old open source code (I have a couple to check out).

eWebAuction (alpha) - creating a full feature auction site with full backend. Pref. in php.
we could utilize some of the several open source auction scripts that have existed and are no longer available (I have several I saved over the years) and be in beta with a release in a week or two.
There are eAuction, phpauction, webauction(php), ezauction(cgi) and others. Most have some major glitches. They all lack admin abilites especially ability to charge fees and accounting. Note that I am running a site using the phpauction2.0 (GNU) and have modified it some already.

NetMaster - Content Management script. PreAlpha = This project would be to produce something other than just another forum.

Possible ReWrites or Forked Dev Versions:

Blockade Runners Ver Beta0.55 - currently based upon Blacknova Traders v0.50 with fixes for about a hundred bugs. Things to do include: creation of an ingame full featured admin interface. Creation of a scheduler to replace cron or Possible switch to game days. Create either a reincarnation of dead players or switch to game days for rebirth of player on new day. Future versions to be complete rewrites or even start anew.
Saga of Dragons - creating a forked version of LotGD 0.9.7 - (a simular project- Dragon Saga? by one of BnTs Dev team - status closed - likely cuz hes back working on BnT.) - Mostly this would entail taking the abandoned project and working upon some issues or using 1 or even several forked versions to create a new version. At this time I am running 3 versions of this script and have setup/run/moded for several sites running this old script. So some of the work has been done, though admittedly the several forks are differant so meshing them may be difficult but it is very possible.
"__?__" - have considered merging these two to create a more functional BnT type game. lol. hmmm.

About above forked projects

Blacknova Traders 0.50 last version from 2003. Though since I started, they released a 0.50 (xxsome wordxx) that porportedly is a bug fix for over 300 bug reports = = simular projects worthy of mention include: Red Nova(multiple versions said to be glitchy, but offering variety of mods), Kabal Invasion-dropped as dev team is now back on BnT) FROM 2 of BnTs origonal devs- protonpack/twinkie (will be a conversion of the 0.50 to new scripting), . I am waiting for release of the protonpack to see if this project is still a valid for use of my time.
LotGD 0.9.7 - A very fine script/game though it is a tongue in cheek tribute to LoRD a bbs game from eons ago. a version 0.9.8 was a series of pre-releases and this version was dropped when the dev team rewrote the entire script and started a new project. The new project was LoGD is now in version 1.0.5 with 2 bug fix releases scheduled before both dev leaders abandon the the new project. Since they fixed what they thought was wrong in version 0.9.7 with the completly new code, the 0.9.7 version has been removed from source forge. NOTE 0.9.7 was gpl GNU. The 1.0.x versions are basically private commercial. The new code is a resource hog.

Both. lol.

Currently,
although I also have privately begun several projects of my own, I am actually looking to be on a dev team of certain types of projects. Mostly I hope to be part of a team, even if its just 2 of us, to work on projects simular to those I am or plan to work on.
Why? Because:

A team can do it quicker.
A team can see something from differant view points.
A team can brainstorm with others.
Team members have differant talents in differant areas.

Depends upon the project. All are volunteer positions on the respective team.

Required Basic Traits:

Some knowledge of php and/or sql, java-script,html,dhtml, etc.

Project specific abilities or expertise.

A short back ground...

I have had some sort of online presence since before the public knew there was an internet.
Accessing the internet from schools, municipal buildings and Rockwell International.

Talk about old... I learned BASIC in 1978, Business Mark IV in 1979, BASIC II in 1979.

Prior to 1998, I began teaching myself html and making website templates and websites.

I started learning by doing, to use some java script, dhtml, php and use of sql as required to make websites do something besides just sit there. lol.

I worked on code fixes and moding some open-source projects, just because I wanted to learn stuff. lol.

Currently, though I also have privately begun several projects of my own, I am actually looking to be on a dev team of certain types of projects (rather brainstorm with others and share what I have).

Through my websites I have been presant since before 1998, the year I offically began designing websites up til early 2005 when I turned to programing and working on several open source projects, my own personal projects and modding for my wifes game site as well as other FREE game sites.

BTW- even as I was turning my main site to be only a directory instead of a biz site, it still was in top 66,000 world wide for traffic early 2005 beating IBM and most Fortune 500 companies.

Finally turning away from politics. Yay.
I have many topics on my mind...
my gripes today seem to be too many to focus on...

1. Why is common sense so uncommon?
2. Why do so many pay high prices for cookie cutter sites that often do nothing but site there and cost more money? (I have several sites one could purchase inexpensively plus several projects working on coding for Turnkey sites).
3. Why are traffic exchanges so flawed (have tons of answers to this one and yes I have a project for a traffic exchange site, system and network in progress with the exchange in beta now).
4. Why hasn't the Realty industry started having a Real online presence? (even started programming a realty web script. LOL).
5. Why are so many "free" sites so expensive? And damn phpauction for offering a "free" script that costs a fortune and still does not work well, lacks any accounting, etc..
6. Why are some free game scripts trying to charge those who offer free games? ...
7. .... No I will stop now. Then get back and touch upon these individually.
ok, one more... Why is it when I tell someone I work online, they ask whom I work for, or start asking about p orn?.

73 would require Parents to be notified 48 hours before a surgery could be performed upon a minor, specifically abortion.

simular laws exist in approximately 30 states.

Poor wording of this prop will lead to its defeat.

74 would change teacher tenure to 5 years.

As the teachers union run Cali this one wont pass.

75 would ban the misuse of union dues for political purposes without the workers permission.

This one will be close, as many workers favor it.

Fantastic Idea! Lets dub it "live within your means" initiative.

Not sure if this one can pass as the liberals are spending a fortune to defeat it.

77 Fair Redistriction initiative. Sets up a panel of 3 retired judges to redraw districts.

Down sides: judges in Cali have almost always overturned anything voter approved, how can they be trusted?

Also calls for immediate redraw of districts rather than waiting til 2010, so the added cost will hurt it.

We do not support this, but do support a Fair Redistricting bill later.

Secret Service Comments
[Dave Kulow] We had a neighbor when I lived in DC who was part of the secret service presidential detail for many years. His stories of Kennedy and Johnson were the same as those I heard from the guys who flew the presidents' plane --- (es, Kennedy did have Marilyn Monroe flown in for secret "dates," and LBJ was a typical Texas "good ol boy" womanizer. Nixon, Bush 41, and Carter never cheated on their wives. Clinton cheated, but couldn’t match Kennedy or LBJ in style or variety)
The information below is accurate. Former Pres. Bush Sr. and the current President Bush make it a point to thank and take care of the aircrews who fly them around [When the President flies, there are several planes that also go -- one carries the armored limo, another the security detail, plus usually a press aircraft] and both Bush's made it a point to stay home on holidays, so these Air Force and security people could have a day with their families.
WHAT WAS, WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN, AND WHAT IS
WHAT WAS:
Hillary Clinton was arrogant and vocally abusive to her security detail. She forbade her daughter, Chelsea, from exchanging pleasantries with them. Sometimes Chelsea, miffed at her mother's obvious conceit and mean spiritedness ignored her demands and Exchanged pleasantries regardless, but never in her mother's presence. Chelsea really was a nice, kindhearted, and lovely young lady. The consensus opinion was that Chelsea loved her Mom but did not like her.
Hillary Clinton was continuously rude and abrasive to those who were charged to protect her life. Her security detail dutifully did their job, as professionals should, but they all "loathed" her and wanted to be on a different detail. She was hard work because she was so nasty and mean toward her detail. Hillary Clinton was uniformly despised by the Secret Service as a whole.
Former President Bill Clinton was much more amiable than his wife Hillary. Often the Secret Service would cringe at the verbal attack antics that Hillary would use against her husband, the then President.
They were embarrassed for his sake by the manner and frequency in which she verbally insulted him, sometimes in the presence of the Secret Service, and sometimes behind closed doors. Even behind closed doors Hillary Clinton would scream and yell so loudly that everyone could hear what she was saying.
Many felt sorry for President Clinton and most people wondered why he tolerated it instead of just divorcing his "attack dog" wife. It was crystal clear that the Clintons neither liked nor respected each other and was true long before the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Theirs was genuinely a “marriage of convenience”.
Chelsea was much closer to her father than her mother, even after the Lewinsky scandal which hurt her gravely. Bill Clinton did in fact have "charisma," and occasionally would smile at or shake hands with his security detail. Still, he always displayed an obvious air of superiority towards them. His security detail uniformly believed him to be disingenuous, false, and that he did nothing without a motive that in some way would enhance his image and political career. They did respect him, unlike his wife, but they did not particularly like him and nobody trusted him. He was polite, but not kind.
WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN:
Al Gore was the male version of Hillary Clinton. They were more friendly toward each other than either of them were towards former President Clinton. They were not intimate, so please don't read that in . They were very close in a political way. Tipper Gore was generally nice and pleasant. She initially liked Hillary but soon after the election she had her "pegged" and no longer liked her or associated with her except for events that were politically obligatory.
Al Gore was far more left wing and very hateful, not just politically opposed, to Republicans than Clinton. Al Gore resented Bill Clinton and thought he was too "centrist." He despised all Republicans. His hatred was bitter and this was long before he announced for the Presidency. This bitter hatred was something that he and Hillary had very much in common. They often said as much, even in the presence of their security detail. Neither of them trusted Bill Clinton and, the Secret Service opined, neither of them even liked Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton did have some good qualities where Al Gore and Hillary had none in the view of their security details.
Al Gore, like Hillary, was very rude and arrogant toward his security detail. He was extremely unappreciative and would not hesitate to scold them in the presence of their peers for minor details over which they had no control. Al Gore also looked down on them in disgust as they finally observed and learned with certainty on one occasion when Al Gore got angry at his offspring and loudly, in their presence, pointed at his security detail and said, “Do you want to grow up and be like them?”
Word of this insulting and demeaning verbiage by the former Vice-president quickly spread and he became as despised and disliked by the Secret Service as Hillary. Most of them prayed that Al Gore would not be elected President and they really did have private small celebrations in a few of their homes after President Bush won. This was not necessarily to celebrate President Bush's election, but to celebrate Al Gore's defeat. He was much disliked. Al Gore was not a good and kind person. That he could have been our President may suggest that God was "answering prayers" and looking out for the country with Al Gore’s defeat.
WHAT IS:
Everyone in the Secret Service wants to be on First Lady Laura Bush's detail. Without exception, they uniformly concede that she is perhaps the most nice kind, and genuinely good person they have ever had the privilege of serving. Where Hillary patently refused to allow her picture to be taken with her security detail, Laura Bush doesn't even have to be asked, she offers.
She doesn't just shake their hand and say, "Thank you." Very often, she will give members of her detail a kindhearted hug to express her appreciation. There is nothing false about her. This is her genuine nature. Laura Bush really is this kind of a person and her security detail considers her to be a "breath of fresh air." They actually love her as a human being.
They joke that comparing Laura Bush with Hillary Clinton is like comparing "Mother Theresa” with the “Wicked Witch of the North”.
Likewise, the Secret Service considers President Bush to be a gem of a man to work for. He always treats them with genuine respect and he always trusts and listens to their expert advice. They really like the Crawford, Texas detail. Every time the president goes to Crawford he has a Bar-B-Que for his security detail and he helps in serving them theirmeals. He eats with them, sits with them, and talks with them. He always asks about their family, the names of which he always remembers, and he of course, knows each of them by their first name, and calls them by their first name as a show of affection.
They believe that he actually loves his security detail and that he is deeply and genuinely appreciative of their service. They could not like, love, or respect anyone m ore than President Bush, and most of them did not know they would feel this way until they had an opportunity to work for him and learn that his manner was genuine and consistent. It has never changed in the time that he has been President. He always treats them with the utmost respect, kindness and compassion.
It is important for everyday Americans to have a true inside understanding of their President.

Gas Price Gouging

The House composed and considered a bill to increase government power to stop price gouging in the petroleum industry. And help increase gasoline supplies by encouraging building on new refineries. About time on both. NO no refineries have been built in over 30 years.

Naturally it almost went along party lines, but lucky for America the Republican won out.
By a narrow margin (2 votes) the House has sent its anti=price gouging bill to the Senate. Likely they will drag their feet, add amendments to water it down,... that is if the Democrats dont talk it do death.

Still leaves me wondering why common sense ain't so common.

THE CAJUN WAY

They were poor. They lived in homes that, to some Americans, would appear no
more than shacks. They've suffered discrimination at the hands of their fellow
Americans. And when the hurricane came, it seemed to veer out of its way, just
to hit them.
So why didn't hundreds of Cajuns from western Louisiana appear
on my TV screen this week, complaining that George W. Bush doesn't like them,
demanding $200 billion of my tax dollars or blaming the bad weather on Halliburton?
Hurricane Rita may have hit western Louisiana harder than Katrina hit New Orleans, but Rita across folks made of sterner stuff then you'll find in the Ninth Ward. Here's how one Washington Post story described the scene
just hours after Rita made landfall near Intracoastal City, a "city" that in many senses barely exists:
"The only people who can get here are the sturdiest of sorts, a small armada of Cajuns with pretty French names and sunburned skin and don't-mess-with-me bravado. The bayous were full of them Saturday, gliding high and quick in airboats, and so was the Vermilion River, where they were spinning steering wheels on fast Boston Whalers and kicking up wakes in flat-bottomed, aluminum boats. They did not wait for the president or FEMA or anyone else to tell them that there were people out there - out there and desperate, on rooftops...
'I got out of the sheriff's office in about 20 seconds,' said Steve Artee, as his son, Chris, made a hard, boat-tilting turn on the swollen Vermilion. 'They just took my cell phone number, and I was gone. That's because Kathleen Blanco wasn't involved.'"
Now, anyone who hates Blanco and bureaucrats can't be all bad. But I don't agree with Mr. Artee that the people of Vermilion Parish behaved more responsibly or showed more strength of character because Gov. Blanco didn't have their parish on her speed dial. I believe the people of western Louisiana behaved better because they are, in fact, better people.
The failure revealed by Hurricane Katrina was not a failure of government, at least, not any more than government always fails. The failure in New Orleans was a failure of character. Corrupt people electing corrupt politicians who gave millions in tax dollars to corrupt cronies to either mis-construct vital levees or to spend the money on entirely useless pork projects. Then, when disaster struck, these same people-living a Faustian deal of votes for tax-funded handouts- were utterly lost when those corrupt government officials headed for high ground without them.
As John Fund of the Wall Street Journal wrote: "In just the past generation, the Pelican State has had a governor, an attorney general, three successive insurance
commissioners, a congressman, a federal judge, a state Senate president and a
swarm of local officials convicted. Last year, three top officials at Louisiana's Office of Emergency Preparedness were indicted.... Just this summer, associates of former [New Orleans] mayor Marc Morial were indicted for alleged kickbacks involving public contracts. Last month the FBI raided the home and car of Rep. William Jefferson as part of a probe into allegations he had misused his office."
Not to mention the widespread looting by the citizens of New
Orleans themselves, which included televised looting by police officers, too.
The chief administrative officer for Kenner, LA, was just busted for pilfering
food, drinks, chainsaws and roof tarps from New Orleans and stashing them in his
suburban home.
Hey-stay classy, New Orleans!
Then came Hurricane Rita, Katrina's ugly sister, to wreak similar havoc just a few hundred miles to the west. The communities affected were, on the surface, similar as well: Abbeville or Cameron, LA were "low income" communities. The education levels were similar to the Ninth Ward, too. And you won't find many branches of the Aryan Nations meeting among the dark-skinned natives of Cajun country, whose heritage is a genetic gumbo of Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and American Indians.
But while the people of New Orleans were panicking and complaining (not to mention stealing, shooting and stabbing) days after the storm, the Cajuns of western
Louisiana were out in their boats, looking for lost neighbors and rescuing
strangers off rooftops.
It wasn't just because Gov. Blanco wasn't involved-it was because almost NO government is involved in these folks' daily lives. The people of rural Louisiana grow up with the assumption that their survival in this world of woe is their responsibility. Unlike far too many people in New Orleans, "low income" isn't an excuse to the working families in rural Louisiana. It's just a condition to be dealt with. They live their lives as though they own them, unlike those government-dependent "victims" who live as though life is something the state provides for them and is responsible to
maintain.
Randy Gary, a fisherman from Cameron, LA, was asked about his future after his boats were destroyed and flooding poisoned the oyster beds he fished.
He didn't blame FEMA or accuse President Bush of stealing his lunch money. He wasn't spotted kicking in the door of the local Wal-Mart to snag a plasma-screen TV "for survival purposes." He has yet to join the Cajun Action Committee to investigate why so many of Rita's victims spoke French.
Instead, as the AP reports, he smiled.
"What else we gonna do?" he said, pledging to rebuild his shattered home and work. "It's my life. It's what I do."
Hurricane Rita, you've met your match.

Aftermath of Katrina....

What I have seen since Katrina:

The poor and the wealthy hurt by the storm.
Black, White, Hispanic, Oriental and Indian all hurt by the storm.
Christian people giving, giving, giving.
Churches going all out to minister in Jesus' name.
Neighbors going door to door helping one another.
Thugs and hoodlums going door to door looking for someone vulnerable.
Ice and water being fought over as police tried to keep the peace.
People coming up from New Orleans taking over empty houses because shelters are full.
Out of town volunteers coming with food and staying for now a week still serving it.
The Churches all over this part of the country doing what Christians do in a crisis.
FEMA doing a wonderful job in getting help to us.
The American Red Cross doing a great job in the shelters.
The Salvation Army doing a great job in the community.
Four hundred crewman from everywhere bring back the power to our homes,
churches and businesses.
Lines at service stations a block to a mile long.
National Guardsman patrolling the streets of McComb along with Kentucky
policemen protecting us from the hoodlums and thugs of McComb, Pike
County and New Orleans (the most dangerous city in the world before Katrina).
Drug dealers working outside shelters.
Doctors, nurses and other hospital personnel working tirelessly, even sleeping in
the hospital to do the job God called them to do.

What I have NOT seen since Katrina:

The ACLU setting up a feeding line.
People for the American Way helping in the shelters.
The NAACP doing any work whatsoever.
The American Atheist organization serving meals in the shelters.
Jesse Jackson directing traffic at the gas stations.

I could go on but you get my message. Its the Christian people with love and compassion who do the work.
The gripers in Congress should come on down and get in line to pass the
water and the ice. Are you listening Hillary, Chuck, Teddy and all the sorry
loafers we call Senators and Congressmen. They don't have a clue as to what
this life is all about here on the gulf coast.
Boy I feel better now.

Miscarriage of Justice - Rep. Tom DeLay

Further proof that success has its cost.

House Majority Leader Tom DeLay stepped down from that post to battle the politically motivated inditment leveled by democrats in a texas court. House rules required him to step down from his leadership post pending the outcome of the case.

DeLay was first charged with conspiracy to violate the state election code, which bans the direct use of corporate money for political campaigns.
His lawyers filed court papers Monday attacking that charge. Hours later, a new grand jury brought an indictment against DeLay that included one count of conspiracy to launder money and one count of money laundering.

Lawyers argued the original indictment was based on a conspiracy provision that the Legislature added to the law in 2003. Yet, The indictment alleges that the illegal act date was in 2002. DeGuerin accused Earle of “trying to patch up a terrible blunder he made last week for indicting Mr. DeLay for something that wasn’t a crime.”
DeGuerin also said both of DeLay’s co-defendants were offered “sweet deals” by the prosecutors if they pleaded guilty to a minor charge and testified against DeLay. Both men refused, DeGuerin said.

“We have inquired carefully into the case” and “failed to find a bill of indictment against him,” the grand jury said. A judge then issued an order of “no-bill” for DeLay and his associates Jim Ellis and John Colyandro.

The prosecutors have only up to three years after the alleged crimes to bring a charge of conspiracy or money laundering. Because the case is based on actions during the 2002 election season, time is running out this fall to pursue charges.

The trumped up charge is "conspiracy" and "money laundering" in regards to 2002 campaign contributions to and from a PAC.
Conspiracy is often the charge when no evidence of wrong doing can be put forward.

“I have not seen a criminal conspiracy case in Texas for a long, long time,” said Austin-based defense attorney Ray Bass, who is not involved in the DeLay case. “In the last 20 years, I can’t even think of one.”

A Lesson in World History

Human History: Division of the human family into 2 distinct political groups began some 12,000 years ago. Humans existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunter/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains in the summer & would go to the beach & live on fish & lobster in Winter.

The 2 most important events in all of history were the invention of beer & the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization & together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into 2 distinct subgroups: Liberals & Conservatives.

Once beer was discovered it required grain & that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our ancestors were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed.

Some men spent their days tracking & killing animals to B-B-Q at night while they were drinking beer.

This was the beginning of what is known as “the Conservative movement.”

Other men who were weaker & less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly B-B-Q's & doing the sewing, fetching & grooming.

This was the beginning of the "Liberal movement"

Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy &group hugs & the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat & beer that conservatives provided.

Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass.

Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, & French food are standard liberal fare. another interesting revolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men.

Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood & group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn't "fair" to make the pitcher also bat.

Conservatives drink domestic beer. They eat red meat & still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, soldiers, athletes & generally anyone who works productively outside government. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.

Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to"govern" the producers & decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America. They crept in after the Wild West was tame & created a business of trying to get MORE for nothing.

The very human side of President George W. Bush

This is from Laura Lefler, who is an aide to US Senator Lamar Alexander in DC. Laura confirmed that she wrote it and is now overwhelmed with it spreading via the internet. She sent it to several friends and they then put it on its journey. There are a lot of dedicated believers among the electorate.

I'm at the 8:00am service at my church, St. John's Episcopal, at Lafayette Square, across from the White House. (I wanted to go early because I was going with Alice and Brent for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel in Manassas.) Much of the service was uneventful; nice, but uneventful, until it comes to the part of the Service when the priest says, “Greet one another in the name of the Lord.”

I turn to my right to exchange the peace with my friend, Amy Fox Smythe, who was on the other end of my pew. I then shake hands with the person in front of me, and turn around to say hello to the person behind me.

The person behind me was our 43rd President, George W. Bush. I am not kidding. A small crowd was forming around him, and not wanting to delay the church service or bother him by waiting to shake his hand, I turned back around and sat down and talked to Amy. About 30 seconds later I felt a hand on my left shoulder and turn around to see President Bush with his hand extended. "Peace of the Lord, " he said and held my hand with both of his. "Peace of the Lord," I replied, and held both his hands and smiled at him. I turned back around and was remarkably calm about the fact that the most powerful person in the world was sitting two feet behind me. I could hear him flipping through his bulletin as the priest made the announcements.

We perched and when I stood up to go to the communion rail, he got up and walked down the aisle behind me. We passed a little old lady who said, "Mr. President, I pray for you every day." To which he said, "That's a very special gift. Thank you so much." We got to the communion rail and there were two spaces, one in front of us and one around the side of the altar. We both surmised for ten seconds and then I started off around the corner. He stopped me and whispered, "No, no. I'll go around," and motioned for me to take the closer spot. The only exception made in the entire service was that the President was allowed to Leave first and then the rest of the congregation followed.

With all sincerity, and partisanship aside I tell you: This is a special man! There is a peace and a Godliness about him. It radiates from him. It is the only reason that I was able to remain calm. It was more than the adrenaline I've felt when I've met other famous people. A goodness flows through this man. He has more than my vote in November. He has my respect, my prayers, and my gratitude. Whatever your political affiliation, and whether or not you agree with his decisions, you should take comfort in the fact that, despite recent press attacks, this is a man of integrity who makes decisions because he believes that are RIGHT, not popular. He makes theses decision with a heavy heart and through prayer.

I don't mean to go on, and on, but I truly believe this was a blessing from God that should be passed on.

Iraq's War

I recall that the War in Iraq ended quite some time ago. In fact we declared victory when there was no government left to say otherwise and our forces rumbled about the capitol.

The war is over, so get over it.

Yet the leftwing media covers stories of the "Iraq War" as if it is still going on.
Shouldn't it be about Iraqi Reconstruction?

Are we losing some soldiers each week?
Are some Saddam Hussein loyalists in Iraq, making trouble? Yes.
Has this opened a window for some terrorist mischief? Yes.
But that's ALL we hear. No wonder there are mixed feelings about Iraq. If you hear about the true happenings there, perhaps the mood would be better here.

The buildings that AREN'T burning in Iraq. "They have a saying in the news business," Geraldo Rivera related. "Reporters don't report buildings that don't burn." And with that introduction, he told a TV audience about the story that is being systematically denied to our entire nation: the success story of Post-Saddam Iraq.

Rivera is no shill for George W. Bush. But Bush, Condi Rice and Colin Powell together could not have been as effective as Geraldo was on the Fox News Channel's Hannity and Colmes program.

"When I got to Baghdad, I barely recognized it," he began, comparing his just-completed trip to two others he made during and just after the battle to topple Saddam. "You have over 30,000 Iraqi cops and militiamen already on the job.

This is four months after major fighting stopped. Can you imagine that kind of gearing up in this country? Law and order is better; archaeological sites are being preserved; factories, schools are being guarded." But what about the secondhand griping that the media have been so efficiently relating about power, water and other infrastructure?

"To say that Iraq is being rebuilt is not true," answered Rivera. "IRAQ IS BEING BUILT". There was no infrastructure before; we are doing it. I just think the good news is being underestimated and underreported." At this juncture, one must evaluate how to feel about the voices telling us only about the bad news in Iraq, whether from the mouths of news anchors or Democratic presidential hopefuls. At best, they are under informed. At worst, their one-sided assessments of post-Saddam Iraq are intentional falsehoods for obvious reasons.

If I hear one more person mock that "Mission Accomplished" banner beneath which President Bush thanked a shipload of sailors and Marines a few months back, I'm going to spit. That was a reference to the ouster of Saddam's regime, and that mission was indeed accomplished, apparently to the great chagrin of the American left. No one said what followed would be easy or cheap, and that's why the dripping-water torture of the cost and casualty stories is so infuriating.

Remember we pay our soldiers whether they are in Iraq or in Ft Bragg, North Carolina.

We should all mourn the loss of every fallen soldier. But context cries out to be heard. Our present news media is not performing this task. As some dare to wonder if this might become a Vietnam-like quagmire, I'll remind whoever needs it that most of our 58,000 Vietnam war toll died between 1966 and 1972, during which we lost an average of about 8,000 per year. That's about 22 per day, every day, for thousands of days on end.

Let us hear NO MORE Vietnam comparisons. They do not equate. What I hope to hear is more truth, even if we have to wrench it from the mouths of the media and political hacks predisposed to bash the remarkable job we are doing every day in what was not so long ago a totalitarian wasteland. Local elections are under way across Iraq, Rivera reported. "Where Kurds and Arabs have been battling for decades, things have been settling down. Administrator Paul Bremer is doing a great job."

So does Geraldo think his media colleagues are intentionally painting with one side of the brush? "I'm not into conspiracy theories, but there's just more bang for your buck when you report the GI who got killed rather than the 99 who didn't get killed, who make friends, who helped schedule elections, who helped shops get open for business, who helped traffic flow again.

"The vast majority of Iraqis are very happy to have us there. I would like to see a bit more balance." This needs to be reported to the American Public who are presently being duped. I expect the dominant media culture to nitpick and attack Bush, and Democrats to blast him with reckless abandon. But when that leads to the willful exclusion of facts that would shine truthful light on the great work of the American armed forces, that level of malice plumbs new depths.

Michael Moore Hates Americans

Yes, "Fahrenheit 911," it's nothing more than a political assassination piece aimed at attacking and discrediting President George W. Bush. The film is reportedly full of forced attempts to depict an illicit relationship between the Bush and Bin Laden families, as well as insisting that the President *welcomed* the horrific events of Sept. 11, 2001, to enable a power grab.

Extremely anti-American in his views, Michael Moore is a proven opponent of the war on terrorism. He already has unjustly attacked and unfairly condemned the Bush Administration and its efforts to protect our country. He is dedicated to bringing down the Bush Presidency, as evidenced by his scathing Oscar night attack. And his previous films, such as "Bowling for Columbine," reveal just how seething Moore's hatred is for the basic patriotic American values that you and I hold dear.

Making this latest film all the more dangerous is Moore's well-documented fondness for not just misrepresenting the truth but presenting lies as facts in his so-called documentaries. "Fahrenheit 911" promises to be offensive and profane... which makes it all the more stunning that initially, Disney and Icon Productions were backing this film. Initial outrage forced both of them to terminate their association; however, Miramax chose to provide bridge financing.

Thanks in large part to the petitioning efforts of our friends at PABAAH.com, the NY Times is now reporting that the Walt Disney Company is blocking its Miramax division from distributing the new "documentary" by Moore.

Thank goodness. If Moore wants this film distributed, let him put his OWN money into it. Mel Gibson had to do it, why shouldn't he? Well, radical left-wing groups like MoveOn.org and Democrats.com are FURIOUS. And they're telling their members to contact Disney and DEMAND that "Farenheit 911" be distributed across the country...at least in time for the Presidential election. How non-partisan of them.

Disney is doing something RIGHT for a change. They need to be encouraged in this action... and YOU need to thank them NOW.

TAKE ACTION: Patriotic Americans across the country need to contact Disney TODAY to thank them for doing the right thing, and to encourage them to stay the course... Say NO To Michael Moore! All of the phone calls and emails to Disney and Eisner's office apparently have paid off, BUT WE MUST STAY THE COURSE. It is not worth the price of admission.

If you like getting mad and upset go see it.

To describe this film as dishonest and demagogic would almost be to promote those terms to the level of respectability.

To describe this film as a piece of crap would be to run the risk of a discourse that would never again rise above the excremental.

To describe it as an exercise in facile crowd-pleasing would be too obvious. Fahrenheit 9/11 is a sinister exercise in moral frivolity, crudely disguised as an exercise in seriousness. It is also a spectacle of abject political cowardice masking itself as a demonstration of "dissenting" bravery.

Oscar-winning filmmaker and best selling author Michael Moore, the disingenuous filmmaker, (to quote Senator John McCain), has made a king's fortune railing against the hypocrisy he epitomizes.

In "documentaries" like Bowling for Columbine and the soon-to-be-released Fahrenheit 9/11, and in "nonfiction" books like Stupid White Men and Dude, Where's My Country?, Moore has proved himself over and over to be the most shamelessly dishonest -- if crudely effective -- propagandist since Joseph Goebbels and Nazi documentarian Leni Riefenstahl.

George Orwell's Animal Farm was right on target about the leaders of the gun control movement.

* Rosie O'Donnell has a private security guard who applied for a permit to carry a pistol. Rosie also lives in a gated community because she's a wealthy and important celebrity, one of the limousine liberal aristocrats who thinks her life and safety are more important than yours.

* Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA), a rich man's rich boy who never did a lick of honest work in his life: his security guard was detained (but not prosecuted) for carrying a machine pistol into a government building in Washington, DC.

* Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) received a bomb threat, so she used her influence to get a San Franciso pistol permit, instead of doing what she thinks commoners and peasants should do: play "911 roulette" and hope the police don't say, "You're on your own," as they did in Los Angeles, Crown Heights, and Central Park.

* Washington Post columnist Carl "Warning Shot" Rowan was not convicted for having an unregistered pistol in Washington DC, or for using it to shoot a trespasser with a "warning shot." (In most jurisdictions, you are not allowed to shoot someone over a nonviolent misdemeanor.)

* HCI spokesman Joseph D. McNamara: "As much as I oppose the average person's having a gun, I recognize that some people have a legitimate need to own one. A Military Story -- Don't Close Your Blinds

This next article is a Fathers way of explaning to his Son why we are at war.

The other day, my nine year old Son wanted to know why we were at war. My husband looked at our Son and then looked at me. My husband and I were in the Army during the Gulf War and we would be honored to serve and defend our Country again today. I knew that my husband would give him a good explanation.

My husband thought for a few minutes and then told my Son to go stand in our front living room window. He said "Son, stand there and tell me what you see?"

"I see trees and cars and our neighbor's houses." he replied.

"OK, now I want you to pretend that our house and our yard is the United States of America and you are President Bush."

Our Son giggled and said "OK."

"Now Son, I want you to look out the window and pretend that every house and yard on this block is a different country" my husband said.

"OK Dad, I'm pretending."

"Now I want you to stand there and look out the window and pretend you see Saddam come out of his house with his wife, he has her by the hair and is hitting her. You see her bleeding and crying. He hits her in the face, he throws her on the ground, then he starts to kick her to death. Their children run out and are afraid to stop him, they are screaming and crying, they are watching this but do nothing because they are kids and they are afraid of their father. You see all of this Son.... what do you do?"

"Dad?"

"What do you do Son?"

"I'd call the police, Dad."

"OK. Pretend that the police are the United Nations and they take your call, listen to what you know and saw but they refuse to help. What do you do then Son?"

"Dad.......... but the police are supposed to help!" My Son starts to whine.

"They don't want to Son, because they say that it is not their place or your place to get involved and that you should stay out of it," my husband says.

"But Dad...he killed her!!" my Son exclaims.

"Daddy...he kills them?"

"Well, if the police don't want to help, I will go and ask my next door neighbor to help me stop him." our Son says.

"Son, our next door neighbor sees what is happening and refuses to get involved as well. He refuses to open the door and help you stop him," my husband says.

"But Dad, I NEED help!!! I can't stop him by myself!!"

"WHAT DO YOU DO SON?" Our son starts to cry.

"OK, no one wants to help you, the man across the street saw you ask for help and saw that no one would help you stop him. He stands taller and puffs out his chest. Guess what he does next Son?"

"What Daddy?

"He walks across the street to the old ladies house and breaks down her door and drags her out, steals all her stuff and sets her house on fire and then...he kills her. He turns around and sees you standing in he window and laughs at you. WHAT DO YOU DO?"

"Daddy..."

"WHAT DO YOU DO?"

Our Son is crying and he looks down and he whispers, "I'd close the blinds, Daddy."

My husband looks at our son with tears in his eyes and asks him..."Why?"

"Because Daddy.....the police are supposed to help people who needs them...and they won't help.... You always say that neighbors are supposed to HELP neighbors, but they won't help either...they won't help me stop him...I'm afraid....I can't do it by myself Daddy.....I can't look out my window and just watch him do all these terrible things and...and.....do nothing...so....I'm just going to close the blinds.... so I can't see what he's doing........and I'm going to pretend that it is not happening."

I start to cry.

My husband looks at our nine year old Son standing in the window, looking pitiful and ashamed at his answers to my husbands questions and he says..."Son"

"Yes, Daddy."

"Open the blinds because that man.... he's at your front door..."WHAT DO YOU DO?"

My Son looks at his father, anger and defiance in his eyes. He balls up his tiny fists and looks his father square in the eyes, without hesitation he says: "I DEFEND MY FAMILY DAD!! I'M NOT GONNA LET HIM HURT MOMMY OR MY SISTER, DAD!!! I'M GONNA FIGHT HIM, DAD, I'M GONNA FIGHT HIM!!!!!"

I see a tear roll down my husband's cheek and he grabs our Son to his chest and hugs him tight, and says... "It's too late to fight him, he's too strong and he's already at YOUR front door son.....you should have stopped him BEFORE he killed his wife, and his children and the old lady across the way. You have to do what's right, even if you have to do it alone, before it's too late." my husband whispers.

THAT scenario I just gave you is WHY we are at war with Iraq. When good men stand by and let evil happen Son, THAT is the greatest EVIL of all. Our President is doing what is right. We, as a free nation, must understand that this war is a war of humanity. WE must remove evil men from power so that we can continue to live in a free world where we are not afraid to look out our window so that my nine year old Son won't grow up in a world where he feels that if he just "closes" that blinds the atrocities in the world won't affect him.

"YOU MUST NEVER BE AFRAID TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT! EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO DO IT ALONE!" BE PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN! BE PROUD OF OUR TROOPS!! SUPPORT THEM!!! SUPPORT AMERICA!! SO THAT IN THE FUTURE OUR CHILDREN WILL NEVER HAVE TO CLOSE THEIR BLINDS..."

This should be printed in every newspaper and posted in every school in America. Of course that won't happen so we'll use the internet.

After a post on her Web site urged folks not to accept the "myth that
9/11 turned president Bush into a 'hero,'" die-hard Democrat Barbra Streisand
pleaded with fans to change the attitudes of Americans.
“Blabs” is in a
diva-sized dither because people aren't buying Dick Clarke's bizarre statements.
She blogged, "Can you believe that some polls now show that more people believe
Bush/Rice/Cheney's take on their handling of intelligence pre- and post-9/11
than the many people inside the administration who have come out to tell us the
facts about what really went on..."She then issued a call. "Ask anyone and
everyone you know who still trusts Bush why they have such faith in him. Get to
understand their psyches ... let them know the truth ... do whatever you can!
There is so much at stake," she implored.
The Left Coast Report suspects
that when you ask people "why they have such faith" in President Bush, their
answer might go something like this: He's a man who is willing to take resolute
action to protect our country and our people, despite the loudmouths on the
left, the partisans in the media and the power-grubbers in Congress.

The Hollywood group is at it again. Holding anti-war rallies, screaming about
the Bush Administration, running ads in major newspapers, defaming the President
and his Cabinet every chance they get, to anyone and everyone who will listen.
They publicly defile them and call them names like "stupid" , "morons", and
"idiots".
Jessica Lange went so far as to tell a crowd in Spain that she
hates President Bush and is embarrassed to be an American. So, just how ignorant
are these people who are running the country? Let's look at the biographies of
these "stupid", "ignorant", "moronic leaders, and then at the celebrities who
are castigating them:
President George W. Bush: Received a Bachelors Degree
from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He served as an
F-102 pilot for the Texas Air National Guard. He began his career in the oil and
gas business in Midland in 1975 and worked in the energy industry until 1986. He
was elected Governor on November 8, 1994, with 53.5 percent of the vote. In a
historic re-election victory, he became the first Texas Governor to be elected
to consecutive four-year terms on November 3, 1998 winning 68.6 percent of the
vote. In 1998 Governor Bush won 49 percent of the Hispanic vote, 27 percent of
the African-American vote, 27 percent of Democrats and 65 percent of women.
He won more Texas counties, 240 of 254, than any modern Republican other
than Richard Nixon in 1972 and is the first Republican gubernatorial candidate
to win the heavily Hispanic and Democratic border counties of El Paso, Cameron

While comparing the education and experience of
these two groups, we should also remember that President Bush and his cabinet
are briefed daily, even hourly, on the War on Terror and threats to our
security. They are privy to information gathered around the world concerning the
Middle East, the threats to America, the intentions of terrorists and
terrorist-supporting governments. They are in constant communication with the
CIA, the FBI, Interpol, NATO, The United Nations, our own military, and that of
our allies around the world. We cannot simply believe that we have full
knowledge of the threats because we watch CNN!! We cannot believe that we are in
any way as informed as our leaders.
These celebrities have no
intelligence-gathering agents, no fact-finding groups, no insight into the minds
of those who would destroy our country. They only have a deep seated hatred for
all things Republican. By nature, and no one knows quite why, the Hollywood
elitists detest Conservative view and anything that supports or uplifts the
United States of America. The silence was deafening from the Left when Bill
Clinton bombed a pharmaceutical factory outside of Khartoum, or when he attacked
the Bosnian Serbs in 1995 and 1999. He bombed Serbia itself to get Slobodan
Milosevic out of Kosovo, and not a single peace rally was held. When our Rangers
were ambushed in Somalia and 18 young American lives were lost, not a peep was
heard from Hollywood. Yet now, after our nation has been attacked on its own
soil, after 3,000 Americans were killed, by freedom-hating terrorists, while
going about their routine lives, they want to hold rallies against the
war
Why the change?
Because an honest, God-fearing Republican sits in the
White House.
Another irony is that in 1987, when Ronald Reagan was in office,
the Hollywood group aligned themselves with disarmament groups like SANE, FREEZE
and PEACE ACTION, urging our own government to disarm and freeze the
manufacturing of any further nuclear weapons, in order to promote world peace.
It is curious that now, even after we have heard all the evidence that Saddam
Hussein has chemical, biological and is very close to obtaining nuclear weapons,
their is no cry from this group for HIM to disarm. They believe we should leave
him alone in his quest for these weapons of mass destruction, even though it is
certain that these deadly weapons will eventually be used against us in our own
cities.
So why the hype out of Hollywood?
Could these celebrities believe
that since they draw such astronomical salaries, they are entitled to also
determine the course of our Nation? That they can make viable decisions
concerning war and peace? Did Michael Moore have the backing of the Nation when
he recently thanked France, on our behalf, for being a "good enough friend to
tell us we were wrong"? I know for certain he was not speaking for me. Does Sean
Penn fancy himself a Diplomat, in going to Iraq when we are involved in combat
there? Does he believe that his High School Diploma gives him the knowledge (and
the right) to go to a country that is controlled by a maniacal dictator, and
speak on behalf of the American people? Or is it the fact that he pulls in more
money per year than the average American worker will see in a lifetime? Does his
bank account give him clout?
The ultimate irony is that many of these
celebrities have made a shambles of their own lives, with drug abuse,
alcoholism, numerous marriages and divorces, scrapes with the law, publicized
temper tantrums, etc. How dare they pretend to know what is best for an entire
nation! What is even more bizarre is how many people in this country will listen
and accept their views, simply because they liked them in a certain movie, or
have fond memories of an old television sitcom!
It is time for us, as
citizens of the United States, to educate ourselves about the world around us.
If future generations are going to enjoy the freedoms that our forefathers
bequeathed us, if they are ever to know peace in their own country and their
world, to live without fear of terrorism striking in their own cities, we must
assure that this nation remains strong. We must make certain that those who
would destroy us are made aware of the severe consequences that will befall
them.
Yes, it is a wonderful dream to sit down with dictators and terrorists
and join hands, singing "Kumbaya" and talking of world peace. But it is not
real. We did not stop Adolf Hitler from taking over the entire continent of
Europe by simply talking to him. We sent our best and brightest, with the
strength and determination that this Country is known for, and defeated the Nazi
regime. President John F. Kennedy did not stop the Soviet ships from unloading
their nuclear missiles in Cuba in 1962 with mere words. He stopped them with
action, and threat of immediate war if the ships did not turn around. We did not
end the Cold War with conference.
It ended with the strong belief of
President Ronald Reagan
PEACE through STRENGTH.

UN Confirmed Weapons of Mass Destruction Found in Iraq

Why are we still hearing that no WMD were found in Iraq?

UN Confirms: WMDs Smuggled Out of IraqBy Rod D. Martin June 21, 2004
In a report which might alternately be termed "stunning" or "terrifying", United Nations weapons inspectors confirmed last week not merely that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, but that he smuggled them out of his country, before, during and after the war.
Late last week, the UN Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission (UNMOVIC) briefed the Security Council on Saddam's lightning-fast dismantling of missile and WMD sites before and during the war. UNMOVIC executive chairman Demetrius Perricos detailed not only the export of thousands of tons of missile components, nuclear reactor vessels and fermenters for chemical and biological warheads, but also the discovery of many (but not most) of these items -- with UN inspection tags still on them -- as far afield as Jordan, Turkey and even Holland.
Notably absent from that list is Iraq's western neighbor Syria, ruled by its own Baath Party just like Saddam's and closed to even the thought of an UNMOVIC inspection. Israeli intelligence has been reporting the large-scale smuggling of Saddam's WMD program across the Syrian border since at least two months before the war. Syria has long been the world's foremost state-sponsor of terrorism.
Perricos highlighted the proliferation danger to the Security Council, as well he should: UNMOVIC has no idea where most of the WMD material is today, just that it exists and it's gone; and anything in Syria is likely to be in Jerusalem or New York tomorrow.
This is the biggest news story of 2004 so far. Yet you haven't heard about it, have you?
You probably haven't heard about Canada's Prime Minister Paul Martin either -- a socialist and no friend of America. Addressing a group of 700 university researchers and business leaders in Montreal last month, Martin stated bluntly that terrorists have acquired WMDs from Saddam. "The fact is that there is now, we know well, a proliferation of nuclear weapons, and that many weapons that Saddam Hussein had, we don't know where they are. Terrorists have access to all of them,” the Canadian premier warned.
The tip of this terrorist sword was scarcely deflected on April 26th, when Jordanian intelligence broke up an al Qaeda conspiracy to detonate a large chemical device in the capital city of Amman. Directed by al Qaeda terrorist leader Abu al-Zarqawi -- the same man who personally beheaded American Nicholas Berg in Iraq last month -- the plotters sought to use a massive explosion to spread a "toxic cloud", meant to wipe out the U.S. embassy, the Jordanian prime minister's office, the Jordanian intelligence headquarters, and at least 20,000 civilians (by contrast, only 3,000 died on 9/11). Over twenty tons of chemical weapons were seized from the conspirators, who were just days away from carrying out their plot.
One wonders where CNN and USA Today think twenty tons of nerve gas and Sarin came from: Chemical Weapons-Mart? Yet their coverage, like most major media outlets, mentioned not a word about Saddam's smuggled WMDs, which -- according to liberal dogma….”don’t exist.” Even though the UN says they do exist, now spread around the world.
It's not just the UN, Bill Clinton says they exist. Even after the war in a July 2003 interview with Larry King, the ex-president uncharacteristically defended George Bush, saying "it is incontestable that on the day I left office, there [was]...a substantial amount of biological and chemical material unaccounted for" in Iraq. Every intelligence agency in the world -- French, British, German, Russian, Czech, you name it -- agreed before the war; Jordanian intelligence can certainly confirm their opinion today.
So what's the deal? Why the relentless pretence that "Bush lied" when even the UN and Bill Clinton say he didn't? Why the absolute silence about "inconvenient" parts of various UN reports, such as the discovery of chemical and biological weapons plans, recipes and equipment; of bio-weapons agents in an Iraqi scientist's house; of a prison lab for testing bio weapons on humans; of complexes for manufacturing fuel for prohibited long-range missiles; of artillery rounds containing enough sarin to kill thousands of people, of similar shells containing mustard gas, two (but far from the only) of which were used in a terrorist attach against U. S. forces just weeks ago?
America cannot afford the answer to this "why": that many on the left consider George W. Bush's defeat more urgent than al Qaeda's, his political death more essential than the possible physical death of millions of Americans.
The character of our foreign enemies has never been in doubt.
The character of the enemy within -- from Dan Rather to Michael Moore -- has never been clearer.
And the stakes are the highest they’ve ever been.

Eleven thousand soldiers

they paid a hero's price,
to save a foreign nation
they all made the sacrifice.

United We Stand

For those of us who can remember WWI & WWII, we need to remind the younger
generation of how we succeeded winning those wars.
They were times of great
sadness, times of great loss, times of enormous unity by the entire United
States of America and most of the free world.
Certainly there were those who
opposed both wars but they were the very small minority. There were those, as
there are today, who didn’t want their loved one’s to go to war, but when they
did, they supported all of the troops and prayed for their safe return. Most
importantly, the brave Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard who
didn’t come home and made the highest sacrifice, didn’t die in vain. Our purpose
in both wars and every conflict thereafter has been to combat aggression from
those who oppose a free world, those who’s only goal was global power, to the
extent of killing there own people to get the power, i.e. Saddam Hussein.
Each and every conflict the United States has been involved in, up to the
present, has resulted in unity from the majority of the population. We hate war
or conflicts but we understand the reason behind it.
The problem with
today’s majority of citizens is that they have never known true adversity. The
stock market has for the most part, been good. There has always been more food
then needed, look at the obesity of many folks today. There have been no
rations, with the exception of a few gas lines at various times. There have been
more millionaires made in the past and present century then ever before. In

We
cannot imagine what would have transpired had President Bush not retaliated to
the attack on America since 1979. Yes, 17 from 1979 to 2001. we are not blaming
either the Republican or Democrat Presidents during those times but the point
is…..enough is enough. President George W. Bush did what four (4) Presidents
didn’t have enough guts to do and that is retaliate against foes of peace and of
a free world. December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor was the first and last attack on
American soil until the attack on the American Embassy in Tehran, November of
1979. In 1941 President Franklin D. Roosevelt sent a message that the United
States would not tolerate aggression against countries that wanted a free world
and President George W. Bush has done the same.
Then in 1977, when Jimmy
Carter was elected President, he started down sizing the military after Vietnam,
and that is when terrorism started to raise it’s ugly head. Presidents Carter,
Reagan and Clinton did nothing to combat terrorism. President George W. Bush,
Sr. made a feeble attempt to bring Saddam Hussein to justice but failed.
When September 11, 2001 happened, the President in power, George W. Bush,
Jr., retaliated in a way no other President before him had since Roosevelt, and
that was send a message that again reminded the world that the United States of
America would not tolerate terrorist activity on United States soil or any other
countries soil for that matter. Had President Bush not reacted, the Liberal
Democrats would have been up in arms stating he was not protecting the people of
the United States against terrorist aggression.
Well folks, we ARE in the
middle of a WAR, like it or not. To leave Iraq before our job is complete would
send a message that the United States is weak and that we turned tail and ran
home. Then you watch the terrorist activity increase more then ever.
If
President George W. Bush is not reelected to a 2nd term and Kerry is elected to
his 1st term, the United States will be in the worst trouble in history
So my
fellow Americans think real hard about your decision on who should be elected
come November 2004. If you Liberals, in your heart of hearts, strongly believe
that Kerry is the answer to all, then by all means cast your vote for him. If on
the other hand you are voting for Kerry ONLY because of your hatred for
President George W. Bush and America, rethink your reasons, especially you
bleeding heart liberal stars who have made your fortune just because you live in
America, a country that will tolerate your militant voice.....NO LONGER.
The United States of America needs unity now more then ever.

Political beliefs?
All flotation are likely to be evil, after all most were paid liars (lawyers, solicitors). lol.

You should learn to make your own choices by studying rather than listening to those with an agenda, who are paid to mislead you.

My Beliefs:
That every American regardless of religion, race, or political affiliation should be free to pursue happiness, self preservation and free of all interference into their lives so long as they are not harming others.

The United States of America should remain Free of outside influences. The USA stand up against the tyranny of a One World Order.

The rights of the individual Citizen should never be infringed upon.
I still believe in the Constitution and most especially in the Bill of Rights.

The Fore Fathers and Framers of the Constitution had very idealist notions and per chance the beauty of their beliefs may be lost as we as a people seem to have forgotten what this country is about.

I know they would be the first to start a New revalidation in America to restore the Government they created.

BTW We noticed an interesting fact,
everytime on of the liberals has a real life problem, they suddenly grow more moderate.
When a moderate encounters a real life problem they suddenly become more conservative.
Hey either get educated to think for your self,
or I hope you get a few real life problems so you will have to think for yourself.

As to the rest of the World,
I have mixed feelings on even touching this subject.
On the one hand I want the best for everyone.
On the other it is not for anyone to say what is best for another.

You really are no different than we here, in fact your thinking is just as polluted as ours. But there is hope for us and there is hope for You.

Stop letting others decide what you think.
No politician, No party, No one with any agenda really cares about you.
They sell you a bill of goods that you will never see in order to get the power they crave.

I would hope you get your act together and establish freedom.
But if you don't want freedom, that is up to you.
As to us we still have to get our act together to keep our freedoms.
I do not look forward to spending life in prison for protecting my daughter from some perverted rapist. (And it happens that way here, contrary to what you think. I do read the news).

Religion:
Supposedly I am a Religious Zealot.
My guess is this is supposed to defaming or just so they can persecute me further. Unfortunately, I will not be blessed for this persecution, since it is not true.

Yes, I have been involved with several non denomination's Christian church's in the past. Mostly in management, administrative, but mostly in food for the poor and youth programs.
I was ordained by a couple of churches and missionaries am still legally ordained in a couple of states.

My Religion: Orthodox Christian
The Persecuted Church had been underground for 2000 years.
my status: Saved, Reborn.
Not practicing as there are no Orthodox Churches anywhere near our remote location.

Beliefs include protecting the weak, protecting the young, protecting women, helping the poor, feeding the hungry, refection others, etc.

First let me say I have No politically spirations.
Mostly my family and I just want to be left alone to be free from those with political agendas.

Okay, Back to those wonderful terms of endearment bestowed upon me by the slanderous few...

Observed Beliefs in USA of those with certain Politcal labels:

Reactionary= One who wants to go back to the "good ol days". I personally am not sure what the good old days were. lol.

Liberal = raise taxes, spend more money, send our taxes to other countries so they can have civil wars while millions go hungry at home, big brother government should control every aspect of your life, force you to do what they want, eat what they say, not eat what they zealously think may be bad, you are not allowed to defend your life- do so and go to prison, your family nor your property, Everyone in the world should be given American rights, but Americans should not be allowed to use their rights, smokers are criminals, but criminals are misunderstood, killers should go free cuz they are just sick.

Conservative= grant more rights to states, localities and more freedom to individuals, spend less money, lower taxes, punish criminals and help victims, guarantee your right to life by allowing you to defend yourself and your property, stop big brother government from deciding if you are allowed to eat meat or smoke or have fun, stop the world from taking over our country, stop the world from imploding.

Moderate= Something in between conservative and democrat, though most often more like Liberal light.

NEW WORLD ORDER= the u.n. to control everything. force eveyone to do its bidding and bow down to its divine new order.
Upon taking over the US, Cancel the US Constition.
Then Take all US resourses to transfer to countries the un chooses.
Send Our youth to fight those countries that want to keep their freedom.

So whos who? Good luck on that one. You wont even get people to agree on the definitions. Personally I think they are all the same and put on a false face and label their opponent so they can be the lesser of 2 evils.
Example: Both Clinton and Bush light are called 'Moderates'.
Neither will ever get my vote.

TRUTH:
I am from a family that has long been Democrats for generations.
I even supported Democrat Gary Hart for a bid at the White House.
A few years back...
My Grandmother became a Republican, my mother quit voting and I became a supporter of a third party (American Independant and/or US Taxpayers Party).

For me the move was Due to the abuse of power

Brief History of my LoGD experience

Because I do get alot of questions and because I do not mind answering, but think it would be easier to just post it somewhere... About me,... Did you know? First for the few that do not know,... Mighty-E Eric Stevens created lotgd as a tribute to legend of the Red Dragon (LoRD) a BBS game. I was not around way back then, and still have not played any type of LoRD game. I have yet to recieve even 1 lesson in any modern programing language. I and Lady Laren have done roleplay for many years, but this site was the first online rpg we ever did. I joined the site with the intent to purchase it to convert to a real roleplay group and game that we have run for many years. I was outbid for the site by DeAdmin. I left the site many times over unbalanced changes to the site. I have played on many lotgd sites under many names. (hey I may know you, no, you may know that character, not me). lol. When I started on this site, the people were far from friendly. DeAdmin did work to change that, but in the mean time,... I created the first Clan in lotgd (at least none were on the sites listed at the central server). It was The Wolfen and I created it to try to protect my loved ones from the bullies that preyed upon the weak. In time, I made most concede and all recognize I was a force not to be ignored. Lady Laren and I created the Clan Pages and DeAdmin placed the link on the site so all Clans could be included in game. We also added the Guilds so those who could not show honor by refraining from attack farmies, could still have a group. Lord Wolfen performed the first wedding we know of in the gardens of this site. Then did tons more and finally ordained another to continue this task. Lady Laren purchased the site and wanted to save it. That the guild/clan script most servers employ was created for blue dragon(check the db table names of lotbd_guilds (Legend of the Blue Dragon). I was coOwner of Blue Dragon and it was on 4winz.com(my domain for years) and chief coder there, til the other owner got angry that I did not allow cheating by his admins(spelled friends) and stabbed me in the back. I came back to the site to be DeAdmins Anti Cheat Admin. We had another site shut down for copyright infringement ... twice. I had 2 lotgd sites closed for reasons to do with abuse of admin powers. Only 1 site that i reported stayed open because they had friends. They are now gone too. That I have worked on dozens of lotgd sites behind the scenes to repair bad coding, fix glitches, or add mods. I had to save playpen lotgd from its repeated crashes. Then stayed to work on coding for them and to play the game there. And that Streen and I worked to fix the faulty guild/clan script there. They got what they wanted then deleted our accounts. That I coded the spend ref points options and released them to the lotgd coding community only to be assualted by the team, who said it was not good to give stuff to those who support the site. They then released their own version that they had been using for years. Hey if it was such a bad idea, why did they already have it? That the latest lotgd version I checked (1.02) still has some of my contributions including one that credit is given to 4winz. That my coding is on alot of .9.7 version sites, just no credit is given. BTW I am currently releasing some scripts, snippets and such at a forum for Admins of .9.7 version sites.
